Fixing your Leaking Shower

A fully trained technician will access your leaking shower with a Moisture Meter to determine the extent of water damage. We also conduct a Free water pressure test (valued at $95) to determine if there are any leaks within the pipework. If any are found we recommend a plumber. Once this has been repaired we would return and re-access your shower. You will not be charged for this service call.

The Technician will explain the entire procedure to you, the price quoted is all you will pay.

Procedure

Any deteriorated grout will be removed and replaced (matching your existing colour). We then de-soap the shower recess and apply 3 coats of penetrating sealer. This will soak into the porous grout making it waterproof. All movement joins (where walls of tiles meet and walls meet the floor) are primed ready for the installation of our Maxiseal product. This product is very flexible and will permanently seal the movement joins. The seal can be matched to the existing grout and tile colour. To stop any water leaking in behind your taps and shower rose, these are also sealed up.

The whole process takes between 2 and 5 hours depending on the level of service. Your shower is ready to use after 24 hours.
